1. Who is
Scott Scherrer?
Scott Scherrer is a registered investment advisor and licensed
insurance agent. He is a lifetime resident of Illinois,
growing up in Stickney and currently residing in Downers Grove.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the
University of Missouri at Rolla where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
He had an extensive career in the Information Services area of
Commonwealth Edison and Exelon until retiring in 2003. Scott
has been married since 1982 and has three children. He has
been active in his church and enjoys working at home with his
family.
2. What are his qualifications?
Scott has been directly investing since 1976 and is experienced
in multiple market conditions. Scott grew up learning
conservative finance principles and has combined that with Christian
ethical principles to tailor investment strategies for family,
friends, and clients. Scott has a long record of making
long-term investments. He has taken investment advising
classes and passed the NASD Series 65 exam to allow him to become
a registered investment advisor.
Scott has taken the required training to qualify for a Insurance
Producer license in the Life and Health areas in Illinois. He
has also completed Continuing Education courses and special
training provided by insurance companies. Scott has appointments
with many companies and is able to compare and determine the
best coverage for cost available. He also has relationships
with brokers that provide additional help and information.

3. What is his commitment?
Scott will perform deep research to find the best products or
investments for the client. He will decide based on the
best choice for the client and not based on commission.
He will monitor investments at least on a weekly basis and review
the client’s financial situation periodically. Scott
will give rational advice in the client’s interest.
